CULTURAL EXCHANGE TRIP INFORMATION

The cultural exchange trip is a 14 day immersion into Senegal's rich culture and traditions.

Week 1 Ndaje Fesival of Music & Dance. As a Cultural Exchange trip participant, you will have access to all of the festival dance and drum workshops, performances, and a grand tanabeer.

During week 2 participants will visit Senegal's popular tourist locations such as Goree Island, Lac Rose (the pink lake), and the African Renaissance Monument. Also, shop and purchase traditional clothing, jewelery, fragrances, and crafts at the HLM, Sandaga, and Artisan markets. During this time you will also have the opportunity to partake in language and cooking lessons, visit local beaches, and relax!
